Bob, what do you, (and Chuck, naturally), think about the "one day' possibility of a pfoto gallery, where we might show some of the "Uglies, for the simple curiosity of being able to see what one is talking about when they say they have a huge lamination, or a cracked head, or any other anomily that happens, despite the fact that they are only worth face value. The curiosity factor,,and educational as well, if we take into consideration the Machine doubling tha we sometimes see a very outstanding examle of. I have a couple of these that I will be posting very shortly, when I get my camera set up again.

Dick,
I think I know what you are talking about. It would be more or less a place where if someone wanted to know what a 'cud' looked like, they could access a photo through a generalized photo gallery. Am I right? I believe that might be one of the things in the works when the new coppercoins site comes on line some time in the future. (no...I don't know when that will be yet)
Until then, having the ability to post pics right here in each forum thread also gives us the ability to provide those photos to anyone who requests them. Adding anything to this programming we are using currently is not worth the effort as it is outdated and finicky. The new site should be a better avenue for doing stuff like you suggest.

I agree with BobP. All of us together could pull-up a picture of anything if anyone needed one. It would be a bit redundant to have a photo gallery alonside the forum.

Just thought I'd ask. I have a ton of stuff that I just recently had a chance to go thru, and there is things on it, that you wouldn't believe. But, that day will come. Maybe I'll have the camera setup for taking photos, with out having to tear down this setup, to set up a new one!

Take pictures of them anyway Dick. That way there, should you just want to show us some of them, you already have it done. Also, should we go with a photo galley some time in the future, I know where to go to find pics.

Bob, I'll try to do as you ask. "LORD, just give me another hundred years". You gave Methusla 900, so why not me?

I would like to structure an encyclopedic 'whats what' of Lincoln cents on this site at some point. Only problem is organization and the logic behind how it would work. It's such a daunting project, I'm not sure how to organize it so that things would be rather easy to find and use.
