Looks like the Y in Liberty, can't see evidence of anything else though.

That is definitely the Y of LIBERTY there. You can see a little bit of the back of the coat in the next bay. Remember to take a good look at the obverse of these because unless it has been changed or polished, you should see some portions of a prisoner cent.

Nice find. I have an 83P that's very similar to yours.

Bob said it all, and BTW, this is the first "Y", I have seen. Thanks for sharing!

There seem to be clashes on both bays on either side of the Y

Yes, the other one is thr "T". I would like to see a full width memorial view, if possible. I'll also bet the OBV has some strong remnants. Thanks,
Dick

Actually I did see much more on the reverse but the Cent has seen some hard times and isn't in the greatest condition , I will take a better look at the obverse and get another shot of the bays for you Dick. Thanks for the input guys.

Thank you, Sandra. It is as I expected, the full profile is visible. Very nice coin! I save all the clashes I run into. No reason, I just like them. Samething with large die breaks/cracks, I save them, too. Not worth any premium, unless outlandish, but they are nice.
