I see we have a lot of the same coins in our collection. You've spent a lot of time putting your collection together with images.
Welcome to coppercoins!

Hello, Yes, I like to help people around the world to know our (USA)coins. Sometimes the photos help. I have been collecting for a year and half. My husband had save coins(mostly wheat) for years.

When I started collecting coins I saved everything at first. Finally realized that I need to go a specific direction and weeded a lot of items down and went on with Lincoln Variety Cents. I still have the other coins, but plan on selling them when I retire or when I find someone who really want to continue with those series/denominations/countries. They pile up fast. I mostly image educational items/varieties/oddities that I find. Always nice to know what you have when you find something different looking.

I started saving only the Wheatie and sending everyhing back to the bank. Then one day I was reading about errrors on the coins and kicked myself for sending the coin to the bank. We look at all the coins for anything different about them. I will post some of My finds shortly. Thanks

I buy boxes from the banks or anywhere I can get them so I can check to see if anything is there. That is how I found this one.

That is one nice coin, I am hoping to find something like that for the collection. I buy rolls from the bank but only $20 to $50 a week. Love to look at the coins for new errors. How can I post a photo with out using Photobucket.com. I have it but like to post just from the computer.

gm99, and others, I don't know off-hand about posting directly from the computer, (maybe Coop, or Carol, or some of the rest, maybe, but, I find "the bucket" as easy as any of the various ones that are available. Emailing, yes, an attachment, and away it goes. As long as it is in the browser, you can "paste" it I guess, but it has to BE some place, to be retrieved frpom.
BTW gn99, welcome to the best forum around! We got some nice peole here, too, as well as a big bunch pf pictures of coins!

Dick
