Mike, If you will look back thru some of Coops posts, re clashes, you will find posted photos of the wheats, and memorial overlays, showing the impact areas. That sure helps determine if in fact the mark is from a clash, or other type of damage. One that comes to mind, is the may 21, 2007. Or close by

This clash on ebay is awesome, it's like an overlay. You can see a lot of the designs on both sides. Not hyping it and don't know the seller but it looks great as an example of die clash. It shows the head below the memorial and nice columns on the obv.

Simple description of what a clash is....
The dies smashed together without a planchet in between so the obv die makes an impression on the rev die and the rev die makes an impression on the obv die. Dies are a mirror of the coin so the image is like a negative, that means the bars you see on the obv are the open areas between the columns (not the columns themself). If the mint notices it they would try to polish it away, that's why on some cents you see only the remnants they did not get rid of but on ones like this the cent got made before they tried to polish it away.

I have a die clash that look's similar. It is located below lincolns ear. I does favor yours. Could it have been transferred twice?

Yes they can show more than one clash below the ear.

If the alignment changes it might make several.

There is a thread that covers your question very well. Maybe Bob, can remember when it was. It involved both double, and triple clashes. Most interesting coin.
