It seems to be one, but this has slightly different turn to it.

Thanks
Mike

Mike, How do the markers check out? that is oe of the determining factors. Many times you will have to depend on the MM location, to determine which one of several that fit.

Mike, I don't know what to tell you. If you check the site, it should give you the markers for a particulat die. Granted, there will be one or two identical markers for one or another die, but I don't think there will be several different ones for the same die. I am confused, now, but if all the markers you show were on the same die, it would fit fine. I think one die has to have only certain markers, that are not common to other dies, to be reliable. I try tio match as many as possible of those given for that particular die, and "hope", because I can't trust my eyes lke I used to. maybe ED or Bob can help more.

Mike can you sharpen the focus to see the metal flow pattern, or, the pattern from polising, if present? It helps eliminate dies, (or confuse the issue, even more).

I'd avoid thinking of the markers until the direction and MM location match then look at markers.

I'm still trying to convince myself this would be west and or tilted? Opinions?

The D is slightly lower than the D on most of the listed ones (it's below the 9s tail on this one) so that should rule some of them out. Also yours has a sort of box shaped center, that rules some out.

My impression is that it is rotated slightly CCW. I use the site photo, and an artists grid to locate the MM with relation to the tail of the "9", ie, high, low, even, east, or west. Then project a video pf the image on a monitor, or TV screen to duplicate the size. That gives me a definite location, and , yes it will eliminate a bunch of others. It will depend on whether your camera has a video out to TV etc.

It
's hard to tell, ED. I used more magnification, and don't see any split serifs, but there seems to be something inside the top loop of the "D", and the curve is thicker than the vertical bar. My grid shows the MM slightly east of center, and, a little below, as well. Maybe it is "tilted", instead of "rotated". Opinions?

A closer view of the mint mark would help. I'm not seeing a RPM yet. So a closer look might help.

I think it's none of the listed RPMs on the site.

The boxy center and area to the west makes me think it's an RPM but I'm not sure Wink
