How do I check to find out which browser I'm using, (so I can get rid of it, if it is'n't the one I want)?
On this computer, I am logged in the CCF, and even though I shut down the machine, when itcomes back on line, I check, and I'm still logged in. This is the one that won't let me send more than one email at a time, AND, I have to "send it later"! No matter if I just sent one, or haven't sent one foe a nonth!
I just want to find out about the browser, the emails can wait.
Dick

Dick
When you signed up for C.C.F. there was an option, that says "remember me".
That feature will always log you back on the next time that you visit. I use it all the time so I don't have to search my paperwork for all the passwords that I use.
It shouldn't have anything to do with your e-mail.

Mike

PS just out of the blue are you using your anti-virus to scan your e-mail both in/out? That will slow you waaaayyy down.

Hi Dick,
Somewhere in your browser menu, there should be an "about..." item. Mine is under "help", and says "about Mozilla Firefox". On the top bar of your browser window you might see the program name too. Also, if there are any AOL icons on your browser window, that might be a clue you have something made for/by AOL (trouble). Currently, the two best options are Internet Explorer or Firefox. I prefer Firefox by a wide margin. If you want to download, you can get it here.

I might prefer Firefox personally, but professionally I have to concern myself with the other 80% of browser users, most of which is Internet Explorer.

I would stick with Internet Explorer if that's what you already have.

If you are using AOL, you are using their crappy version of Internet Explorer. I would suggest leaving AOL if you're with AOL. They cause far more problems than they solve.
