Maybe I got lucky with this (my first) box. So far I've found approx. 40+ wheaties (I'll go after them later) but have been looking at the newer cents. here's another strange one I've found.

Mike, you sure have an imnteresting one there! I can't say MD, and I'm afraid to say you finally found a nice one. Lets hope it is the latter!

Interesting looking liberty.
It's hard to tell what's going on, whenever I see QX images I wish I could see the same thing with a loup.

Looks a lot more like machine doubling than a hub doubled die to me, but I would have to see either better images or the coin itself to tell for sure.

I sit on the fence, because I can't really understnd how you can have MD on one letter in a series. It seems that if one letter is "shoved", they all should be the same. just like hub-doubling, when one is doubled, all are doubled, (to a certain extent). Or is my understanding in error? Thanks,
Dick

Dick,
It's hard to explain but that MD can get one letter or the date or the MM and not show in other places or it can show everyplace.
LOL... It tries to be tricky!
