Perhaps you have purchased a home in the past ten years or so, and you were offered the first few years @ 0% interest, and the following years it went up, as a balloon payment, to recoup the first few years of lost profits for the lender. These were great, and Wall Street loved them, calling the monies invested in them as a group Derivatives (as their payoff was Derived from their profits). However, inflation began to creep up, and Greenspan began to increase the interest rates to hold back money supplies, and in classic Keynsian economic models the mortgages, based on the current interest rates, ballooned TWICE.
This happened, as a nation, across the entire country, and has now caused the near collapse of all financial institutions, because the monies they expected from mortgages dried up-EXPONENTIALLY, meaning at not a straight line rate, but as an upward evolving Keynsian supply dysfunction log curve.
In Keynes economic models supply and demand are inversely proportional. One goes up, the other drops. A log curve points an inefficiency.
Now, directly on the heels of tightening the money supply, they now design to inject massive monies into the economy.
And this brings me to the point- Have you seen how much Gold and Silver the mint is selling? People are bailing from the dollar, including the Chinese, who propose to reduce their holdings by 25%. China is financing America, make no mistake, and they do so because we supply the tools to suppress the dissent there- data mining, Total Information awareness type logs of everyone"s data streams, cameras everywhere.
In exchange, the Communists provide our widgets at slave labor rates- and they are thus OUR slaves. Yep, us.
But Gold is now at 800 dollars an ounce, and it seems to be a good deal, but it will not stay there.
You see, in Keynes models, when the amount of money available to buy items increases, sellers sell at higher rates. And the sky is the limit.
Now, here is why YOU SHOULD BE BUYING GOLD NOW.
In 1982 gold was 325 or so an ounce, and M1, the money supply 17 trillion. Now the money supply is 83 trillion or so, and thus the price of gold should be 2,100 an ounce, but is not. Meaning we are being punked by the gold managers somehow.
Now, if you overlay the money supply they propose to put into our economy, you get 1923 Weimar Germany, where bales of money was burned in wood burning stones because it cost more to buy wood, and the paper burned longer anyway.

My money amounts were off the top of my head, so you can double check, but the gist of what I say stands.
We have had hyperinflation chosen for us, as an alternative to no money available for ANY economic activity (see 1929 Depression).
If you are wise, you will buy gold now, if not....well you will need a wheelbarrel to put enough bills to buy a loaf of bread into. An that, is a true story.

I agree wholeheartidly! I have maintained for years that if one wants to invest money, pput it where there IS good return on the investment, like20-30%, not theniggardly return that is paid here! Silver is another good investment, and yes, definitely gold! DON"T go into "hock" for anything you don't absolutely need, for at least a year. You could end up telling us about Your "big depression"! I know from personal experiencs that one can get good return on short term onvestments, in Mexico. It was as high as 139.26%/per annum. That was when the exchange reat was around 3000:1. It suddenly dropped to less than 20% the month my investment matured. They paid a small %on checking account monies. Considerably higher on savings. So I say Don't go into debt now. Wait, if possiblle, and then think about it. Buy gold, and silver! Just like one puts away a small amount from the paycheck each month, if possible, do the same thing, but in gold. If it is too expensive, buy silver.

How come we have to go out of country to get the news on the economy here.
It's censorship to keep the American people feeling at ease with the economy.
Its like the "bailout", had to go to London newspapers to find out of all the pork barrell spending that was added to have it passed.
I wrote to all my represenatives to let them know how I felt about the add-ons that took more monies out of our pockets.
I am but one person.
Another question. What about fiscal responsibility and a balanced budget. What happenned to that promise. Wasn't that passed as a bill requiring the same.

Well you can't have it both ways. If you believe every wacky conspiracy theory, then our government was behind the bombing of Pearl Harbor and London, the so called fabrication of concentration camps, the Kennedy assassination, the cover up of a fake moon landing, UFO's in Roswell, and others, last but not least the 9-11 tragedy. If the government had the ability to keep all that a secret indefinitely they are greater geniuses than we give them credit for. There is not once ounce of evidence for any of these theories and never will be.

Oh my god, I love Monsterquest. Its the best example out there of alot of hot air about Bigfoot, vampires, black cougars, or whatever, Loch Ness monsters, and in the end, there are cameras tied to trees with nothing, plaster casts of footprints that belong to bears, hair samples that belong to dogs and oh well, we are still out there looking.

Thanks for posting all that information. I have no questions about where you stand on this whole fiasco. My question was really aimed at notabot. I wanted to hear why 'he' believed it was a conspiracy. Did he have his own theory, or was he merely jumping on the bandwagon that others have.
When you think about how ridiculous a lot of the nonsense being told is, it makes me sick. I am sure there are people who know personally how the towers would react once hit by a large aircraft. It happens all the time....doesn't it? There are some things that all the computer re-enactments in the world can't figure out. Maybe it's something else we can give to the Mythbusters to determine. They already debunked the theory that man never went to the moon. What else do we need??
