Just curious as to what caused this, is it a strike thru of some kind?

looks more like a strike-thru, than a lamination. hard to tell.

This is definitely a lamination peel. Looks like the lamination just recently fell off or was removed.

The reason I thought it might be a strike-thru, was dur to the stmetry of the shape, as opposed to a lamination. The color had me fooled. I have not seen a recent-peel.

That's the thing about lamination's Dick. Most all are linear with a pretty straight start and stop point, while others have very ragged edges. I have a few that have folded and retained lamination's. I really do love the variety of lamination's that can be found.

Hi BOB! I have several laminations, some small, others very fig, and all are very jagged around the edges. That is what made me think it was possibly a strike-thru. thanks for the info. One of these days I'll will try to find time to pull some and p[ost a pic, or two.

I've only got a couple of these, one is on a 68 and is quite large and defined. Thanks for the explanation.
