Garry,

I don't know but it seems that:

The choice would be either 165 or 195 so you take the lower number 165. (always less than 180 or assume the other direction since true direction is unknown)

That's my guess, I might be wrong Wink

Hopefully someone will know the rule and tell us.

I am a Machinist. There must alway's be a "0" starting point. When it comes to coins there must be a "0" starting point to determine where the axis is beginning on the coin. You have 4 quadrants to start from. Usually it's from the S quadrant. If this holds true then the Rotation is 165.

If I am correct in saying Due South. I do beleive this is where Mike is starting from.

On a compass, "0" is always due North. Everything else is relevant From there comes the Quadrants, based on the cardinal direction. Place a mirror behind the coin, as you look at it. The memorial, "normally is yp-side-down.. That would shaow the building, as 180 out of position, PLUS the direction it is tilted, givind 15 degrees more to the rotation, or 195 CW. Mike?
