Sellers like that should becharged with raud, with ads like that! The "one, is not a mint error! That is apparent, even to my eyes. The "one" is not in the right place, nor orientation. GARAGE JOB!!! what makes me wonder is WGY ebay goes along with that stuff? They are at LEAST accomplices, and definitely accessories to the crime, before, and after the fact!

I sent a nice message, informing the seller about the post mint damage, that the coin was not identified by NCS as error, they only encapsulated a damaged 1920-S cent. I also expressed some disappointment that whatever is there is not visible in their photograph. . It is $2.64 4 bidders, less than two hours left.
There doesnt seem to be any way of contacting bidders anymore

Gerry, It doesn't seem to have any affect on them. There have been various members, who have contacted the sellers, advising them of the erroneous description, and info, but they don
't pay any attentio,. Ebay is aware of this practice, and does nothing about it. It is "Let the buyer beware"! For this, among other reasons I quit bidding. There are toomany who sell the crap, and dissapear. others just keep doing what they do best: RIP-OFF the buyers, with out any appareny loss of sleep. I buy, ONLY B I N, items, and hold my breath!

Right, and that to me spells: COLLUSION!

Well they still could have allowed people to contact bidders and still have both remain anonymous.

It closed at $5.55. At least the seller didnt get much more than it was worth and Im sure it did not cover the slabbing fees

Ed, I agree. there shoukld be a wat to warn the bidders of the status of the object being auctioned, but, Like I said, I think there has to be a certain amount of "collusion", for it to be allowed to cintinue.
