Mike, I don't know which one you are checking, but the ?, and the info on the card does indicate that there are notches on the NW corner, of the letters on "liberty". According to the picture, and the arrows, yes, there seems to be a visible spread.

Knowing James Wiles and how he lists die varieties, I would think this particular coin is too minor. He's probably talking about a different one in the listings. I could be wrong, but my gut feeling is 'no'.

Now, as to whether it would be a doubled die we would list - looks like it might be, but I would have to be able to look at it up close to tell for sure.

so what exactly is a light spread vs medium spread and extra thickness Embarassed

The 'spread' would be the distance from the primary device to the secondary (doubled) device. A light spread would be pretty close, whereas a strong spread would have significant distance between the two. If you look at the 1955 and 1972 Die-001 Doubled dies, those have a very strong spread.
