Would these be considered cuds?Above the L and above in to almost the G.Date on this is 1965.

It looks normal from the scan other than a tiny rim bump above G of god.
It's not a die CUD because the die does not include the rim.

If what you're looking at are small bumps along the rim I've seen them called rim cuds. Look at a 1972 DDO die-4, in the CPG they use some rim CUDs as markers.

It could be debrie, die dent/gouge. But it isn't a cud.

They kinda look like lams(peels) as it does travel from the l to the G and the top of the N is even with the rim.I'm working on a scope so it will be MUCH easier to see what I'm trying to show.Was eady,then got hurt at work and it'd on the back burner again.Thanks for your input guys.Ken

Ken, I might be off-base, but to me a CUD is an area that involves the die, and a missing part of it, that leaves a RIM-to-RIM vacant area, which the metal is missing on the die. This missing part does not make the full opposite, and equal pressure to be in place when the planchet is struck, thus the missing part will leave on one side, a "say-like impression, and on the opposite side, same area, it will show what appears to be "rising" metal, like bread dough riding. The small pieces in the inner areas could be chips from the die. This generally is caused by die deterioration. IMHO

The area above the N does involve the rim.Basically even and a little raised in that area.Hard to see from my pics.
