maybe if it was made from copper and zinc it might have stayed
that a job and a half you got there though so good luck with the repairs looks like you will need some big staples to put that thing back on

I think a couple rolls of duct tape will handle it okay.It only took about an hour and a hlaf to tear it apart, after it tried to make a landing in the neighbors catport. I had it tied dopwn with some ropes, and it was not making so much noise. While I was tearing it apart the neighbor came and we made quick work of the top section. The rest is still there. They came by this morning and took some pictures of it, and I'll get an application for some assistance, due to low income status. Now you know why I only collect varieties, in the cents! LOL! Looks like the wind might drop down to tornado status, maybe only an F-5!

Well the "Awning" is now a stack of aluminum strips, and several pounds of screws! No shade for my bedroom, (so I can't sleep 'til noon)! Now I'll have to find something else to tear down, or aopart, for some exercise. Walking is too easy. I'm tired, and tomorrow, I'll be stiff, but not sore, until the next day. Then it will be a bit uncomfiortable, but it comes with the territory
