it's not a much as Daggit had, but pretty just the same.
Now its starting the freezing rain part of this storm.

yep we are getting the weather you all didn't want 
It's a little warmer here 23.5 degrees but the freezing rain has started.
I got the generator primed and ready, just in case

Bob, that is "white sand" you see was imported from White Sands, NM, where it is very abundant! It took several tyruck-loads to complete the task.

We had a quarter inch of freezing rain, then two inches of sleet, then four inches of snow. We were lucky. 75 miles south of here there is major devistation, power outages, and massive travel problems.

Well Chuck We hope to move back was a safe one...
The state of Ky. and In. called a state of emergency down here.
all in all I had 7in. of snow with 1.25 in. of ice. Our electricity was out for 16 hrs. so the fireplace and generator were both going and had the camping stove on the back porch cooking supper.
Dick I wish it was sand, then the pics. would have me in my speedos
