Found this today in a bw roll in the same lot as in other posts from today. Smile Shocked Surprised.Look at the right side of A in States and to the right of the memorial from rooftop to base.Several of the letters on the reverse have this,but most noticable on States.Any ideas Idea Idea .Thank you,Ken

The tiny bumps scattered over the surface indicate that this is not a genuine example of a cent struck on an unplated planchet. The genuine article should show no bumps. It's probable that the plating was chemically stripped off.

Ken, I didn't notice thisuntil Mike mentioned it, and I have to agree. There wouild bo no bubbles, due to no chemical reaction.. BTW, is this from one of the "Littleton" bags?

Ken You must have gotten it from the last gut I gort some OBW rolls. They were so tight, they "squeeked, but at the asame time, so fresh the ink smell was still present. Can't believe anyone, these days.
