Anyone remember the local Az coin dealer/BM that always ALWAYS had Paul on the radio in his shop?
I'll be surprised if anyone remembers.

Radio? I don't listen to it hardly at all. Mostly TV.

Coop, you sure have done good in that grocery store! I haven't seen one of them in quite a while. What is it? A Crosley, or maybe a Hoffman! I don't think it is a Zenith. They didn't come out until after the war, WWII I think.

I guess he now knows The Rest of the Story. Too bad he can't come back and tell us.

It's a Philco. It's an image I re-cycle from an antique place I've been at years ago. They even have your school you attended at. Keeping with the thread. Probably Paul Harvey went there as well?

He was an icon to be certain...kinda like the voice of reason to off set the normal garbage usually found on media. I certainly will miss his voice...although his son sounds a great deal like his father.

Coop, That school sure looks familiar. We had one in Skull Valley, but I only went there to finish the eight grade. I did go to another that had a stove in the room. It was in Bouse, AZ, in the late '30's, before moving to Clarkdale, AZ. Then on toSkull Valley, in January of 1940. In Bouse we took turns having to light the fire for the class. I had it one week, and some of the other kids did also. The bathroom, (boys), is to the left, and in front of the classroom. The girls Bathroom was on the right side, (as you look at the picture). In Bouse, AZ., the teacher was named Miss Bouse,. she is, (was), the daughter of the founder of the town. It is 25 miles East of Parker, AZ., on the Colorado river, AZ side. It is the place that was the HQ for the contractors who built the Parker Dam, a few miles up-stream. Across the river was another small town called "Earp". Possibly from the "Wyatt Earp" Family.that will concoude our History class for today. Tomorrow, you will be tested. good Luck,
Dick
