We got it a couple of days ago - Saturday. Only a couple of inches here, but a lot of that was probably because we had temperatures into the 70s for two days before the storm. If it had been colder, the frozen ground would have made a decent base for 5-6 inches that fell - but over half of it melted on impact because the ground and roads were well above freezing when it started.
The brunt of the storm was felt southeast of here. Jackson, TN is about 350 miles to the SE, and they got 12.5 inches.

I've turned off the heat pump and switched it to cooling Sunday. (Got to rub it in before we start frying through the summer.)

Thinking of snow reminds me of a Bud Commercial.

Actually if I wanted warm weather through the winter I could have stayed in Florida. That was one of my reasons for coming back to Missouri - I missed the weather.
I actually don't understand how people can survive through the holidays without snow. I guess it takes all types.

Gentlemen, there is more on the way! I had three days here of 80+ temps. It raioned a little this afternoon, and the storm will ride high over the midwest, amnd great lakes. One thinks of Florida, and the HEAT and mosquitos, but I know it can freeze there! many times much colder than here. Coop, you can take advantage of the warm temps there, I'm sure. I like that commercial!
