Hi Guys, I want to catalog all my coins and I have alot. Possibly to sell the whole collection or maybe just part. But I need to get it all organized, and am looking for a good software program to do this. I've seen a few different ones out there and would like a little help in figuring out which one to buy? All advice
would be greatly appriciated..
Thanks

If you can hang in there a bit longer...coppercoins.com will have a place where you can inventory all of your coins. It will be called 'My Collection'. As time goes on, Chuck will further inform us of all that the program will be able to do.

pubcrawler - I was looking for the same thing. Chuck sent me a response saying they were working on one. Since I am only into pennies and since the quality of this site is so great I decided it is worth the wait. Some of the others out there are neat but they are designed for broad collections and higher quality coins. I just want a comprehensive program to cover pennies, including the RPMs, DDOs, DDRs, etc.

Pubcrawler...I don't have an exact timeline on that. Chuck is developing the program, and I can assure you he won't even put it on the site until he is satisfied that it works perfectly and meets with his high expectations. I guess at this point, Chuck is the only one who would know when it should be on-line.

I use an Excel spreadsheet. It works great for what I use it for, but if I know Chuck the My Collection will work wonders for most.

I look forward to that also. I could use all the help I can get to try to organize all these varieties.

I know your all right and will probably wait, but still might get a head start by at least figuring what I got on a spreadsheet as smed has done. Thanks for the info,,,, Ok Chuck I await your talents.......
