I hear a lot of people have gripes about the pricing and/or listings in the new Cherrypickers' Guide. Well, here's a chance to be heard!
A small handful of people around the country who are known for studying die varieties have been passed copies of the new Cherrypickers' Guide to mark in and send back to the publisher. Exactly what will be done with them, I am not privy to at this time, but I know the publisher is listening to the market at large through the experts who deal with these things daily. I am one of those people. I received my copy today.
So...here's the challenge...help me get things straight for the publishers of this guide by submitting to me any changes you think should be in the new guide. Price changes, changes in listings, listings that should be in there that aren't, etc. This is your chance to be heard by the publishers of the most respected die variety identification guide on the market.
I have published a page here at coppercoins to help us organize these changes before I mark the book up and submit it. The page is located at http://www.coppercoins.com/cpgchanges.html. I recommend you look at this page BEFORE submitting comments to me, because it's possible that what you might comment on has already been added to the list.
Change requests are to be sent ONLY to my email address with the subject "CPG change request". DO NOT post your change requests here. It will get sloppy and won't be as useful unless I am the central point of contact. Also of note is the fact that I may not relay change requests if I find them to be unreasonable or incorrect.
We have TWO WEEKS from today to get this done, so let's dig in and help turn this guide back into a useful tool for us collectors!
Thanks!
