I think you got them mostly right.
Here's what I think:
No.1 die crack on reverse
N0.2 die chip on U of reverse
No.3 Probably a struck through grease or something on the date so it never had a strong last digit.
No 4.1957 are full of these worn out dies with chips and cracks vand filled letters.
No.5 This one has some PM damage, it might be the master double die (no big value) but you might see some doubling on the motto. (look at U of trust)
No.6 might be PM damage on the date, this coin is a large date variety, not sure if it's copper or zinc but the surface looks bumpy so it's probably zinc..
Last one looks like the date and MM are a bit flattened from PM damage and the coin had some bumpy plating to start with.

My2centsworth, I might add to the ablve, in the 1982 cent. Cehck all of them for weight. The copper ones are 3.11 grams, while the zinc, are 2.5 grams. There seven varieties in 1982:
Philly- Large, & small date. Zinc, and copper= four varieties.
The "8" is the digit that most indications are visible.
Denver-zinc, large, and small date. two varieties.
Denver- Copper, large date ONLY.
Hope this helps!
Dick

I'll clear things up a little on the 1982 cent. It is post mint damage, the letters you indicate were scraped with something.
Additionally, the coin is a large date brass (copper), not zinc.
What Dick was trying to convey:
The brass (copper) cents weigh 3.11 grams.
The zinc cents weigh 2.5 grams.
There are seven different 1982 cents not including the proof:
1982P large date copper - very common
1982P large date zinc - a little less common
1982P small date copper - somewhat scarce
1982P small date zinc - a little more scarce
1982D large date copper - very common
1982D large date zinc - common
1982D small date zinc - a little less common
The proof is a large date copper.
Two methods to sort them - first, obviously, weigh them. The zinc and copper weigh differently, as menitoned above.
or
drop them on a table and listen. Copper rings, zinc doesn't.

I deserve.lol
Brass..hmm ok Now i have a new?
I started to post it yesterday and i thought i'd drive yall insane.lol
I have noticed i have like 10 pennies that all look like a shiny bronzed color.....quite pretty I think.and they're in good shape, even the older ones...I mean that they don't show the wear and tear like the regular penny does.is this the type you are referring too??
They will weigh 3.11 grams?
I've been planning to get a small digital scale or some kind....
One of them is a bronze 1974 and his vest is bright red though.only the vest.not another spot of red anywhere!
Actually very unusual to me but then again all of them are because I just started looking!!LoL
I wish i could get the color to show up with my scanner.........I'd post it!!

My2centsworth, I am going to confuse you a bit more! Check the '83's weight. There have been some reported at 3.11 grams, (indicating copper), as well for a nice Doubled-
die. You can also use the '83, for the size of the"8:, to see if it is large, or small. The '83, is a small "8", all mints.

If you have a scale or balance it could be worth checking all ones after 82 just to be sure. There have been a few copper 1983, 1989, 1989-d and maybe others found and they're worth a lot.

here, used a curtain rod flattened....well after i cut it off.lol....but you couldn't confuse me more if you tried..i was born in the state of confusion!
But ohhh how interesting.....I have wondered before when i was checking all the 83's and it seemed like in every 8 roll's 6 were 83's and i thought my goodness, what did they do save all the no good 83's for me so now i get to check more than the 83's....thats good!!!
I have to admit though,I do love searching them. I have been trying all day to make better pix, It ain't working.
But anyway,Thanks so much!!
You guy's around here sure do help!!
