I have this 1958 D cent. There is doubling on almost everything except the mint mark. I had one heck of a time trying to photograph Lincoln's face. There is doubling on the nose and forehead (which is difficult to see in the pic) as well as his lips, chin and throat. Before I go any further taking more images, is this just a deteriorated die or a doubled die?

I agree with Steve. This all seems to be machine doubling. No problem seeing that on the pics you took.
