First post on this forum:
Not sure which this is. I have it narrowed down to one of two possiblities, but still not sure. It is close to the 2004-1DR-016 but I do not see any doubling of the knees. Also there is the possiblity of it being the 2004P-1DR-012 but don't think the bar is right. Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

Good to see a new poster! So Welcome Again.
I did a comparison with your coin and 016. 012 is farther north to the temple area. But 016 looks like a match to me. I bet there is a small second column next to the top of your coin that the mark may have hidden. But to me it's a match.
Amazing. The size of the coin on the site and your image of the center part is the same size. I just had to level both of them to get them square and match the location of both bars. Looks like a match. The extra knee may be something else as yours show something in that area. But check the markers on the site to see if any match.

Thanks Coop
I am going to go with the 016 as that was my first guess and matched up with everything I saw, but just wanted to make sure. As far as the image size, I just take the photo's using a usb microscope at 10X which looks like the photo you used to match them up and then using photoshop, zoom in on the area in question with the crop and resize function.
I have found that searching using just 10x seems to work the best for me, as if I can't see it at under 10x mag then it is not worth it.

I use a 7.5-35X zoom scope to get the images the right size I need them. The problem with a fixed power is than you can't make the sweep of the coin larger or small. You can make it smaller with photoshop, but this image was the one Bob Piazza took. They just happened to be the exact size in the center which helps as trying to size them exactly the same is harder as sometimes you have to guess to make them work just right. A lot of information on the site on coins/editing/questions. So if you can read it all. You will enjoy it as it will take knowledge a lot faster. A lot of information we found out after years of study on our own or shared from someone else. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forum, Dave! You are in good hands, when working with Coop.
I agree, the knees are slightly doubled, but can't pin it down much farther.

I believe Coop has correctly identified the die you have, but I would encourage you to try matching up some markers just to be sure. And welcome to the forum!
