They're transitional or wrong RDVs (reverse die varieties).
I don't like the abbreviations CAMs or WAMs, it adds confusion and isn't widely used. It's better to spell them out so people understand without a secret decoder ring.
They belong in the die-variety section.
For a good chart look at Conecas varietyvista:

What is a CAM and a WAM? Or at least, What does the lettering stand for? I checked out the link eagames posted. Why not just call them RDV's?(I'm letting my ignorance show now)
Thanks

CAM=Close AM
WAM= Wide A M
confusing, isn't it? Dact is, they are not commonly used in this fashon, rather used in the total sense, ie "close AM, or wide AM" Not used as acronyms.

I make it:
Close AM
Wide A M
The space in between the letters makes a difference that everyone can pick up on.

Duh. It must have been too early this morning when I read the post. It seems the whole world is one big acronym. Our language is slowly becoming obsolete. Thanks for the answer.
Speaking of WAM's and CAM's, I haven't seen any in my searches for quite a while and I aways get excited when I find those dumb little things.

Well, it's actually best to stick with proper terminology no matter where you are. It helps teach those who may not know what they are or what the abbreviations are.
And they are technically varieties, not die varieties. Just remember that 'die' varieties are something that occurs on one single die. Varieties occur on multiple dies.
This is a design change, not a doubled die.
