Mr. Daughtrey;
Would you ever consider having your book marketed as spiral bound if a third edition hits the street? The binding does not stand up too well to repeated use. Just curious.

My copy of "Looking Through Lincoln Cents" (maybe it's 1st ed) is a spiral binding. It's still holding up after much use.

Henning,
I was not aware that the book (1st or 2nd edition) was anything but spiral bound. Did you get yours directly from Chuck, or from a book store? Maybe I just didn't know others may have been printed in another type of binding....

Sure enough it's the second edition, and it is a regular binding. I purchased the book new on Amazon quite a while ago. So is the revised 2ed edition spiral bound? I sure would like to get another copy.

Mine is 2nd Ed. and is Spiral bound. Still in one piece, (so far)! I got it from Chuck.

The first edition, self-published, was ALL spiral bound. I have been completely sold out of these for about three years now.
The second edition came in both spiral bound and 'perfect bound' - like a paperback. The perfect bound edition was for sale in bookstores since they won't carry spiral bound books. The split between perfect and spiral binding in the second edition was about 50-50. I have these in stock and can get more when I run out.
I am probably not going to make a third edition since I now have control over the title "The Standard Guide to the Lincoln Cent". Its fifth edition is due out later this year.
