Not sure if this is the right place for this question or not, if not sorry. But have a general question on soaking a cent in acitone. On the average is there a spicific time in which one should be soaked, or a certain limit on the amount of time in which to soak one.
Hope I worded this right, if not hope you all can figure out what I am asking.

Thanks
Dave

A few minutes works if it's PVC residue.

I've had coins that were laquer coated, acetone only made them get sticky. After a long soak and using something soft to poke at it got it off and the coin was fine.
