Been going through some of my picture files while I'm laid up in this #$%& hospital. Can anyone give me some Snow numbers on these.
On this 1905, could this just be a ridge pushed up by a heavey blow to the digit punch?

Kurts, is your man! I see the RPD, (digits), on all, but know nothing about Snow ID's. I believe the '95 is a good repunched digit.

They all look like probable RPDs to me, even the 1905.
I don't see any of these ones listed in my old CPG.
Hope your stay there ends soon!

morgansaremine, I completely forgot to comment on the Hospital "visit"! I hope it is "short, and sweet"! I only go because of the pretty nurses.....

I agree...I think those all are RPDs, especially the 1898...a lot is going on there. Unfortunately, I can't give Snow #s either, because I'm missing the guide from 1890-99.
Oops...I just noticed the 1905. That looks closest to Snow-1, 5/5 (s)

Kurt, thanks on the 1905, I'll settle on the Snow-1.
GarryN, thanks also. Can't find anything in the denticles so it at least narrows in down to Snow 5 or 9 on the 1891.
Ed and Kurt, another thanks. Reading through some of the older posts and Ed has one on an 1898 which refers to a post I had on another forum which Kurt answered. Snow-1.
One more question. On the 1891 the blue is the actual color of the coin. Is this natural toning, none of my other Indians even have a hint of this blue color.

morgansaremine, I hate to think this might have happened to your IHC, but my wife cleaned one of my older wheats with lime away, and it came out blue, and also with some other rainbow coloring. ! Was it that color when you gou it, or has it toned, while in your posession?

Coop, that does look a bit like bluing. But, Is it?
The signature speaks volumes.

Dick and Coop, this is a three generation coin. I've had it about 20 years now and it was this color when I recieved it. I know I've done nothing to it and there is no tell tale signs of cleaning. If my Dad or Grandfather altered it somehow, I can't say. Will gun barrel blueing work on copper?

Try on one and see what happens. It just seemed like a possibility when I saw your coin. Try it on a circulated Cent and let us know. I don't have access to bluing. Sorry.
