I've just started going thru this pile of wheats and i've already filled a tube with minor unlisted RPM's. So I can kind of remember why a coin is in the tube, I have a tablet on which I make small notes, ie; 1952-D small split lower serif. But I could eventually have several rolls of too minor to list rpm's and was wonder what the purpose of that would be other to jst have them. Does anyone else save their too minor to list varieties.
Here are some examples of recent minor rpm finds.

Rock,
I have saved almost every RPM I have ever found. I have rolls and rolls of coins by date of the minor ones. I would say I have about 60-70 rolls of them. Some times, when the searches don't go so well, I will go through one of the tubes, and sometimes I end up picking out nicer ones for inclusion on the site.

Hey Ed,
I know what you mean. I've been on the look out for that 015. It's pretty cool I think.
Bob,
I think I will do the same. Just save them in tubes.

I've only decided to 'see what varieties I had' about six months ago during recovery from heart surgery...and my eyes have not been the same since. I will not toss any varieties I find...my eyes have paid for each one of those suckers!

I save them all. I might have new discoveries or future discoveries as minor ones may be later listed. (?) I would kick myself if I tossed them back and later wish I had kept them.

That is also my policy. I dave everything, in solid datr/MM rolls. The good, the bad, and the ygly, just in case. they are alays good for face, if it comes to that, which unlike stamps, one, or a ton, still would not but a cup of coffee.
