Its probably unique. It was also probably about AU when it was elongated. I got it for $89 Very Happy

It is the lower mint mark. Nice that the design carried though the elongating process.

That is awesome, coop Thanks! The coin looks better than some Ive seen in the market!

I wonder how those lines that look like lathe lines got on there. I have never seen a 1933 elongate with such lines.

Garry, I could be mistaken, but those lines are on the rolling mill roller. the purpose for them being there is to enlongate, while maintaining a close control on the width. IMHO.

I have quite a few of these and I dont think I have seen those lines on them. I will look again.

It must have been a high grade coin when it was rolled. AU at least, what do you think?
