He finally decided to get his spine fixed?? That's a pretty hefty decision. Keep us informed on how he's doing.

Having went through 3 spinal surgeries i wish you a speedy recovery Gary. I am sure after you heal you will wonder why you had waited so long. Get well soon

Hello All
I made it home yesterday but think i should have stayed one more day.but i have a great Private Dr and the wife called him cause i told her i was ready to drink the cool aid lol. anyone that was around in the 70's knows what that means. but he told her to get me in.(he forgot that she just got home from a 9 month stay in the hospital herself lol. that's why i waited so long to fix my spine.
I didn't know it but i had a disk in my neck i think they called it c6 d4 or something like that but it broken in half and was sittimg on the nerve that controls the left side of my body so for 9 months i had no use of my left hand legs or anything on the left side.
i had to wait till the wife could more or less take care of herself but i stll hired a sitter ti sit with her.so all in all
I am home I am in a lot of pain but now that i seen my Dr i can sleep well after the pretty colors disappear lol
well take care all and i will be back full time sooner than i know
Gary

Gary, It is a destinct pleasuire to see you are "doing your thing", and one day soon, will be going at it, more easily than before! It just goes to show one, that they can't keep a good man down! It is nice to see you are enjoying the presence of your wife, again. It was a battle, but you both came thru! WAY TO GO!
sincerely,
Dick

Hello all
well the worst has passed and the pretty colors are all but gone.
the Dr hit a nerve with the knife when he was fixing the broken disk and i am on some very good stuff to take care of that. you will not believe the pain a single nerve can produce.Dr went in from the front of my neck to work on my spine lol funny but he said that's how they do it. i was supposed to have a two or three week sore throat and that has not happened i give credit there to the drugs for the nerve.anyway i have resumed buying and selling coins on both my sites. I cant sit here long at a time cause my spine cant take the constant stress of sitting up long but i do check in often.
here are my sites
some of the stuff is to high but all is negotiable

take care all and i will be 100% before i know it

I had the very same surgery about 15 years ago Gary. They went through the neck. Things went well though, and I hope yours does as well.

Gary, it is just a case of friends helping friends. I am very glad you are going to actually be able to "do your thing" again, w/o all the pain, and misery! Welcome back to "my world"!
Dick
