Due to health related problems I will have to retire from coins for a while. I am packing the stuff other people have sent here and am sending all of it back to their owners.
If an when I return to coins, I will announce it here. Until then I prefer to be left alone. Sorry.

All my best and prayers Chuck. Needless to say you need to get a second or even a third opinion on your possible lung cancer. Don't get depressed big guy but get a POSITIVE mind set to wade in to the situation and beat the hell out of it!

My prayers are also with you and the family Chuck. I think you have enough character and strength in you little finger to beat this Chuck. Just know that there are a lot of us here if you need anything-John

Thank you all for the well wishes and support.
An update, the doc said I have no permanent neurological or skeletal damage from the wreck, still no update on the spot on my lung. That won't come until mid-January because of insurance concerns.
As for how I feel, still way down in the dumps for my mental well being, but physically I feel almost back to normal. Still some tenderness and soreness, but that would be expected in any case. Just a little spurt of energy to be here now, but off to bed I go to sleep off the codeine and nerve boosters.
Quitting smoking has been rather successful. From a pack a day down to one smoke a day only when the urge is unfightable. I should be over that within a week or two, and should be completely smoke free by the end of the year.
One piece of solice and good news was shattered this morning when I awoke to no snow, as had been forecast. I was hoping for at least a white Christmas, but unfortunately ours will be cold and brown. Currently 5 degrees out, and not a flake of snow in our yard...it all went south and east of here.
Tired, off again...have fun with it and don't worry much about me. I'll be alive for a while and will be back around periodically, I don't give up too easily.

Chuck:
I certainly hope you pop in here as often as possible to post something. I also hope you pop in on the PCGS boards also. Till then, you remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Chuck
I carry a totally different attitude concerning lung cancer than a lot of people. Three years ago my brother was told he was in the final stages of lung cancer with less than 6 months to live. They blasted him with everything they had at the time and although he did not feel very good for a while 3 years later he is cancer free and doing what ever his finances will allow. He is currently living in Thialand and even the Earthquakes and Tidal Waves couldn't get him. Of course he was not on the beach but I guess that means he is living right. Cancer is curable these days and only seems to produce a major nuisence to most folks. Putting up with us has proven that your nuisance tollerance is pritty high so I will look forward to hearing from you when you feel like it.

Chuck, in November of 2003 I was told I had the big C in the bladder and prostate. Good chance smoking was about 95% of the cause. I stopped right there. Lots to late for me. Don't try the cut down stuff, just stop. PLEASE.
