While checking my 2009 proof set, I found a DDO on the Tyler $1. I don't know if it has been reported, but It is readily visible.

Hi! I just got the proof set, and was looking. I don't collect the presidents, and normally won't pay any attention unless it is a cent. Then it gets a good "going over"!

Hmm...I see the doubled lines, but I'm not good enough with these dollar coins to tell a doubled die.

I have to be the skeptic here, but I am not convinced from what I see that this is hub doubling and not machine doubling.

I'm inclined to go along with that judgement, as well. There are too many reported to be HUB doubling, unless it be Master hub, and I doubt that. All the other "Libertys" are fine, in the proof set.

Hey Dick, took a closer look at the Pres coins. Just curious as to why on the Polk coin the designers initials are incuse and all the rest are the normal raised initials.

morgansaremine, I don't see any difference in the initials on the two pictures shown. Are you sure it is not an optical illusion? I sometimes get verty distinct images, that are incuse, or so it seemed, but actually were relief.

Like I said, I don't pay any attention to the president coins, as I don't collect them.
