Hi All At Coppercoins,
This is such a awesome site, My lst visit 2 -3 hours great info.
This 1995 cent I found while looking for a 1995 ddo.
This cent on the N.E. of 9 looks as if completely lifted up or crack in mold. The 5 area also similar.
Any opinions on this one, upon searching I did read about
ddo of 1995.
Any chance this may have been the start of the die error?
laugh with me here.
I'm sure most have been here before.
Thanks for your help, greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any input, good or bad.
http://www.box.net/shared/v83oo983tc photo of 1995?
Can't seem to get a close enough photo or scan.
Respectfully,
Kim

Hi Kim and welcome here!
Others here are better qualified to help, but my opinion is this coin was damaged after it left the mint, damaged by a tool perhaps?

Hi Kim, welcome to the site! I agree with Kurts,. It sure looks like it took a hit. Definitely "post mint".

Wow, that poor coin's been beat to pieces. Literally.
Post-mint.
