I never thought of it like that. I always looked at the AM and FG to figure it out. even though it is easy to see the difference just by looking at the AM most of the time. this one had me thinking about how i make that determination though

I don't see the relationship between the AM, and the FG. I know when the FG, is in different positions, it also indicates a date, as a rule, at least I have been lucky, in guessing the date pretty close by where the designers initials are located. The only thing, if I gea away from it for a while, I lose the relationship at first.

I went thru a roll of "P", and a roll of "D", and they are all wide, so I evidently saw the right relationship. Thanks,

I was just looking at the recent additions, and have come to the conclusion that 2009-P is going to be another "1960-D" year! And we have six months to go! Considering the year runs from spring-spring, when the first coins start showing up in piblic.
