As most of you are aware, Chuck will be taking a leave of absence from coppercoins.com to take care of personal and medical problems. I know we all wish him well and a speedy recovery from his accident and any other problems he might have.
As far as this forum and coppercoins.com goes, I will not let it fold up and die because Chuck can't be here. We are a close community with a common goal of getting information out to fellow collectors. I encourage you to continue using the forum and talk cents.
I will do whatever I can to continue updating the site. I do not have the same skills as Chuck, but will be happy to help anyone the best I can. I do have access to the database files and can make corrections and/or updates. I can do limited attributions, but my time is very limited. I can and will take photographs when requested or needed. These services I offer only when I am contacted directly and make appropriate arrangements.
Our number one priority is prayers for Chuck and his family. As I get information on him, and with his approval, I will keep everyone updated. If there is anything else that can be done to keep this thing going, I will seek assistance from some of you. You have made coppercoins what it is today, and I would like to keep it growing.

Thanks Bob. If there is anything I can do to help please don't hesitate to ask. That goes for Chuck as well. My wife is a respiratory therapist at St. Barnabas Medical Center here in Jersey and deals with many similar patients and those on pulmanary rehab. and if there is any information we can provide we would be more then happy to.
This is a nice close community here and when one hurts we all feal the pain. Joe

Let me also say thank you Bob. I am a Pharmacist and if I can do anything to help Chuck please let him know it will go without saying. A lot of us owe him a lot, he is just a really nice guy.

Thanks to all of you. I see from the last couple of days that things seem to be close to normal here. I am sure that we can continue the forum and talk cents just as before. Once again, my sincerest thanks to all of you, and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday.

Thanks Bob and everyone else for keeping the place alive. I will be back at some point in the future, we can't hold our breath over the duration of my absence. I am currently unable to sleep because of a number of problems, which is why I am on here now. No promises as to how often I will be here over the next month or three.

Just a question on coins that have been sent in, already.
Would it be possible for Bob to do ... the pictures and forward to ANACS ... instead of sending them all back?
Does Bob have access to your emails (cd@coppercoins.com <cd@coppercoins.com>) Chuck?
Don't know or haven't read anywere on the boards, if you even have access to them ??? or if you or Bob will be responding to them. (your emails)
Please don't take this wrong because I truley don't want to affend anyone much less you. (Chuck) Lord know's you don't need it.
Bob, are you in contact with Chuck at all ... outside of these boards (as far as my 'coins') you should be able to handle them, (pictures and forwarding them to ANACS) I would think. Seems a bit odd that thy would be sent back to me, then I just send em in again, later on for the same thang ... I don't know, ya'll tell me.
Haven't received an email stating that thy have been received as of yet ... but the postal (tracking) service ... shows thy were signed for on the 15th of December.
I don't know if thy are going to be sent back or not or if thy have been sent back ... or just what the staus is on them.
Bob, if ya can, need to get with Chuck and sort out what is going to be going on with these things and if possible ... send out some emails on the status of ... things in progress so the owners have an idea of what to expect ... I for one would at least like to know, about mine.
Thanks ahead of time for anything you can find out ... send me an email ... and let me know what's going on, please.
Best wishes to all and to all a very merry holidays and new year.
May the new year be no worse, than the best day of the previous year.

Pennyhound,
I can receive my email, and have received it - this morning, in fact. I understand the value of your package and am taking very good care of it...but sometimes replies can take a day or so to get to.
I do have your coins, and am trying to work up the energy to take care of them.
I will have to refund your ANACS money for now because the coins were to be sent in a bulk submission that may never happen now. If it does we can touch base on that later.
Bob cannot send the coins to ANACS because the agreement with them is direct between myself and the president of ANACS.

Well, why not just do this (for now) nothing, and see were things are in a few weeks ... who knows.
The coins can set there or here ... doesn't matter ... up to you, just don't push yourself.
Let's give it a few weeks and you take it easy.
I just needed to know something is all.

Pennyhound....To add to what Chuck has already stated here, I obviously don't have the same access or skills as Chuck has, and as such cannot do all he can with regard to third party submissions and the like. I thought I had mentioned above what I can and will be willing to do. I will obviously let Chuck determine what he can do with your individual package (and I think he has already addressed that above). I will be happy to do attributions and site additions as time permits, but you must be aware that my time is very limited. As I stated above, we can work all those things on a case by case basis, as long as we discuss them first.
I think it is best (and I know you whole heartedly agree) that Chuck concentrates on taking care of himself right now. The reason he is returning packages is so that he doesn't stress about holding onto other people's property. As time goes on, we may get back to normal, but it is to early to tell. I will do what I can to keep the site going as strongly as possible. All it will take on everyone elses part is a little patience. Hang in there...you will be taken care of. It just may take a little while longer, and I don't thing a few weeks will be long enough at this point.
I don't have direct access to Chuck. I converse with him on line and on the phone. I am sure he will check in occasionally, or I will let folks know how he is doing when I find out...OK??

All is good, ... as stated, just needed to hear something ...
We will (all) work together and keep things going as best we can ... for sure, on and off site.
Again, best wishes to you and your/s Chuck and Bob your doing a great job.
I just wish I could do more and as other/s have posted, if we can help out in any way ... we will.
Just takes a bit of communications.
