Kurt, the one bunch of "problem coins", are just that, and I don't think I
'll get any more, at least for a while. I was going to use them for "fillers, but ran into another source, that has some fairly nice coins. These include two '60', a '62' and a '75. the rest are '80, and up to '09, however there are some nice ones. At leasrt there is enough detail, that I can go to my color grading pictures from the Sept. '05 coin Values, "making the grade", and get a good idea as to what they are. Tjhe seller was very close in his/her grades given, IMHO. In the "problem coins, all but four are '57, and the four are '58, small letters. Some have corrosion, a couple have hioles, another has a "R" deeply stamped into the con, etc I also have a "dibbs" on a 1872, in VG-F
I didn't get the camera setup after all. I was just about to that point when the phone rang, and mt grand-daughter said "happy birthday. She asked if I was coming up to her house? She said her Mom, and dad were coming up, and knowing I do't drive, wanted to know if I wanted them to stop by. "Sure", I said. I found out after we got there it was all a big surprise party! It was nice to see the whole bunch. BTW, her son, just started in kindergarden, and the teacher asked her to stop by the school. He, "Diego", is very sharp, and quite the "elvis dance imitator, seems to be very active, and attentive, so she thought nothing about it. When she came into the classroom, one of the little boys whistled at her. Diego, told him, "Hey , don't do that, she's married"! Hard to tell what the kids will come out with, now days! They lso gave me a small birthday card.....17X23 inches! signed by everyone there, and some who couldn't make it.

Kurt, Thank you for the birthday wishes
I finally got thee camera set up again, and shot a Can,. cent, for a base setting shot, then went thru the whole set of IHC that came in in the last bunch. thes supposedly, are not problem coins. I think I did find an T+RPD, but didn't weirt it down. I'll look later, and see if I can find it. This set of coins have been sent to my "zip-disc", and it will serve two puurposes: One, it will reduce the "load", in My Pictures, and also make them easier to find. There are 19, so I don't think I'll post. It would be easier to email, and then you can zoom in as you wish. The grades are mine, and taken from my set of color gradfes, in the Sept. 2005 Coin Values. Is there soma way to link you to the zip disc, (drive)? I coul;d also up-load to PB, and provide a link, also. perhaps that would be the best method.

hi again, Kurt! I'll see what I can do. I am trying to give you a direct link to the PB files that were just up-loaded today. There are supposed to be 20 images; 19 of the IHC but somehow there are less. I can't read the dates, so that doesn't help. They start with two '60's, a '62, and a'75.
I even tried to give them a new album name, but so far, no luck. I'll keep trying. I am stubborn that way. Eventually things ho my way, if I have the basis to keep going. I am not backwards about admitting when wrong, or have been shown the difference. What the devil, no one is perfeck!

GarryN, and the rest of you who have been promised a shot, or two. I was setting up tjhe camers/scope rig, and nearly lost both of them! I just happened to be holding both when they came off the edge of the desdk. It will be a bit longer, but they will show, wventually. There are several RPD'd, and at least one DDO. some may be re-reuns, but not everyone has seen those that I have posted.

Here are three od the last bunch I received:

There are two '60's, and there will be tywo '80's, when they show. I have a new shooting setup coming. When it gets here, I'll work on getting some decent shots of some ROPD's.
Kurt, these are the same I sent you...

Dick,
From your pics here, those look like better than most CuNi IHCs I see in dealer stock. Of course, the dates are the most interesting part--have you sent me pics?

Kurt, Yes. I sent you an email with the same photos. Didn't you receive it? I will be posting the rest of the group, a few at a time, until all have been sent, then start going thru a bunch of RPD's, for the general interest, and education. Incidently, I have NOT checked the REV of any of these, or some others that I received, earlier, all FE's, 1857, and and four 1858, small letters. They are all problem coins, so they will be rough, as you will see, later. Tghey are all part od a deal to get as many dates as possible, and as cheap as possible, for the sake of the coverage of the dates. Later, quality will become a factor.

BTW, the three images posted, are all made under the single test shot, of a Canadian cent. the only thing that changed was the coin bein photographed. I was hoping for much more clarity, and better focus, but it didn't happen. that is why i am looking for remotee shutter control. I have that feature on several other cmeras.

I like the feel of CNs, they're nice and chunky.

Out of those 3 I like the top 60 best, it looks original.
The middle one looks similar but the skin isn't as nice.
The 62 is nice but looks like it has a small scratch.

Tough to find much better than these for a good price.
