This image would be okay, if it was only a 3/3, but it looks like a 3/3/3, and there is none listed. The date involved is the 1903, and with the "1s","3n", would be the snow-5
Here is the three: doubled, or tripled?

If tripled, could be a new variety.

I can only see the 3/3 Dick. Am I missing where the other '3' might be?

I do see the third, however not all in one line, but slightly offset.

It would be a big help to see the whole date, in relation to the bust and denticles. I always enjoy comparing these to the Snow guide. Very Happy

Bj, the ofset is the one I believe is the third. I tried to remove it, but to no avail. I took a series of shots, to give you guys something to do.! LOL I'll post them asap. If the ofset is not a punch, (which I believe it to be), then this would be a Snow-5
Have a look:

Niot the order I wanted, but all arrived! Comments? sorry about keeping you eastern time zone guys up, but have fun!

Mike, check the indiancent.com page. On it you will find books, among many other headings. That will give you the source for this info.

Thanks to all. Mike, you are welcome! I try to return a bit of the generous help, I have been given, on this, and other forums. that tells me, that I am also learning, too!
These images are from the scope-camera I got from Gary, a while back, and it is proving to be very handy. The images I see, here are large enough, that I can view them, and search out details, that up to now, have only been vague, at best. This has only been tried on IHC, so, until I get back to LC varieties, I can't say what the effect will be, but I have hopes.
This comment should be in the Photography section, but relates, so It is here. I don't believe the Canon A590 IS has "thru-the-lens viewing", so my question is: How would I check the "white balance"? My setup has the camera mounted on the scope "head", so it has no "view of the background", to make this adjustment. I hope this makes sense. If so, someone might let me know what to try. Thanks to all.
Dick

Nice IH, Dick! I am certainly no expert, but I think I see 3/3/3. I like the pics! Very clear.

Thank you Bennie. I don't recall your arrival, so although late, better late than never, welcome to "our forum. I say "OUR", because we all seem to "live" here!
