Yep, the day after Christmat, is SWAP-day! Then one gets the things they really wanted. I didn't get anything, that I would trade away. It was all too great! Seeing several generations together, all having fun, is awesome! After the New Year is just the day past, and we all have to look 2010 in the face, we will wonder, what else is going to happen?Just to give everyone something to think about:
There are those of you who remember the "League of Nations". Remember how it got us into a lot of trouble? It finally was abandoned, as not useful. My view of the UN, is the same. WE support 90% of the cost, and get very little from it. The bame for how the economy is going down the drain, among aother thngs. I would like to see the US pull out of it, and let NATO do what it was meant to do. We had no business in Vietnam, Granada, Afghanistan, Iraq, The other, places where we have managed to gain fame, and hate. It is time we kept out mind on what is good for our country. There will be no love lost in any of these places where we have "meddled. OPur last "real reason" for major combat, and all it encompassas was WWII. We were attacked, and did what we had to do. Since then, we have been the "attackers"! Why? The places where there should have been some action taken, was not tended to. So we have a "REAL" problem, in more than one place. When it 'explodes, there will be "hell to pay", because the ones who are the ones who should have been taken care of, instead of letting the UN do the talking, and allowing the problem to become even more grave, due to the weaponry, being obtained, and the countries doing it, are be-friended by nations that have always been at best, "on the fence". They help thes countries become even more danfgerous. Look at this scenario: China, will eventually, attack Russia. We will have to help russia, (again) get their tail out of a crack. Cuba is going the way of the weird. Castro and Chavez will seek Russian aid Cahvez has already done just that. There are nothing but "Molotov Copcktails", waithin for someone to light the fuse. North Korea, will one day do what Hussain did, unleash WMD, on South korea. That means we will have no choice but to attack N.Korea. We will have lost thousands of our own military there, China will then come to the aid of N.Korea. Sount nioce ? maybe the AZTECS were right. 2012 could be the date when all this will take place. Pakistan will then show its true colors, when it attacks our forces there, and anywhere close by.
It doesn
't paint a very nice picture, but Like they say on the weather Channel: "It could happen tomorrow"! Could we be the "Next Civilization" in a list of those who have risen, and fallen by their own hand", over the billions of years that this 'ball of mud and water. Mankind and the also known life forms around us are but a grain of sand on the beaches of the oceans, by comparison to twhat, or who has been here brfoe, in all that time. Not a nice picture. I wonder if it could be true?
