2007P Ear

I know this is more than likely just a hit, but I also know if I don't ask I will kicking myself in the a.. for not asking. Mainly what I am looking at is the bottom of the ear. Not sure if it doubled or like I said in the beginning just a hit. Thanks

I would say it's not a DDO.

I think the normal ear covers that area, this coin has a hit.
Doubled dies "add to the normal design" where hits are "on the normal design".

Not sure if it was a hit after it was made, it looks more like the die caught it there as it ejected or something like that.

That is kind of what I figured, but I had to ask. If I hadn't and found out later it was then I would be kicking myself for not asking. I figured the worst anyone would say is no it's not.

It's machine doubling. But yes, it never hurts to ask if you're not sure.
