We had a brief snow flurry and a bit of sleet early Saturday morning in Orlando during the FUN show. Quite a bit odd for there, but it was nothing major at all. Just thought it would be fun to mention it here.

Chuck, enjoy the show! I know that it has done just as you say, and will also comment, that I was VERY surprised the first time I sdaw freezing temps, in "El Carrizo", Sin.Mex.. a place about 500 miles south of Nogales, AZ. I didn't believe it could get that cold, that far South! One of the rare times that the Jet Streams get very far south of the current positions. Say hello to BJ, and the bunch, Bob, too, if he was able to make it there. last I heard, he was in Montana working, (and freezing his rear-end)!

Sorry to say this, guys, but I'm sure glad YOU'RE getting it and not us. It's been a bit brisk this past week, but we've been missing all the major storms that everybody else seems to be getting. Kind of unusual for upstate NY, but I'm not complaining.

I didn't make it to the FUN show. I wasn't in Montana working, but rather seeing to my sick daughter (who is much better now). I got back Sunday after enduring a week of mostly sub-zero temps at night (down to -36 on night). I got back to Florida, and it was only 31 degrees, and got down to 20 that night. That was almost a heat wave to me. Glad to be back home, and I should be getting back into my routine within a week or so.

Picks? A few...nothing worth writing home about.
1916S EF40 for VF money.
1918S AU50 for EF money.
5X 1937D-1MM-001 in MS64-65
3X 1937D-1DO-001 in MS64-65
a few noted RPMs from 1948S, 1949D, 1949S, 1950D, 1953D, 1954S.
A 1934D in GEM BU for $20.
A 1934P-1DO-001 in MS64RD.
That's about it. Most are going online for sale.

I was at FUN for the whole duration, though I did not get to do much searching. I did manage to pick up a 1864 IHP with the "L" and a very nice MPD (Snow die # 2) which Rick Snow confirmed for me.
As for the weather; this will be the first night in over a week that we will not have frost or freeze warnings. I lost more than a few nice plants even though they were protected from the cold.

Yeah...correction on that. It's 1934P-1DO-003. The spread on this one is much better than 001.
