and I do not have cancer. I literally feel like a car has been lifted from my chest. The 'scarring' they saw on the x-ray is still of undetermined origin, but it's not cancer. They figure it could be TB or it could be just scar tissue from pneumonia or chicken pox, both from childhood.
As for what I can and will do, many things are still somewhat uncertain, but I do know that my health is getting better by the day. I have been to the doctor five times, chiropractor twice, and am going to a psych doc in a few days to work on mental issues and try to kick the wide swings I have that you people inevitably have to put up with. All I want is to be normal, have no excuses, and be a decent person to get along with. Whatever it takes to get to that point, I am for.
So that's it. I'm getting better, have started working again, albeit a bit on the slow side, and should be back into getting more done some time soon.
Thanks to each of you for the support you have given, the words of wisdom and concern have helped in this healing process. I am thankful and appreciative that not only did I have some light shine on me to let me create this place, but to have found such a great group of people to call this place home is a blessing in itself. I will do what I can not to let you or myself down.

Chuck, I am so happy for you and your family. Thank God that things worked out well for you. You know - sometimes we need a kick in the a$$ from the guy up there to really see all the great things that life has to offer, and how many of those great things we already have in our family and friends. I really am happy to hear this news Chuck- I will go tell my daughters right now that maybe it was their prayers for my friend Chuck that might have helped.

I am so glad to hear of your great news Chuck. I recently (Novenber) lost my mother to cancer and my only brother (October) to a heart attack, so it's great when someone gives Death a kick in the ass. lol

Brings tears of joy that you are OK and that others have been so supportive. A great relief has come over me. Take your time and get well soon.

Congratulations Chuck. 2005 is going to be a great year for everybody if you don't count the fact that my truck would not start this morning when I was leaving for a coin show. On the bright side I did go yesterday and picked up a BU 1950D RPM. lucky2

Chuck, when I clicked on this link I was praying and muttering "Oh please let it be OK." I am so happy that the results are negative. ..I just can't express myself!
Take good care of yourself and (duh!) follow your doctors' advice!

Really glad to hear when someone beats the big C thing. I had a cat scan back in 2003 and not so lucky. Four operations and lots of chemo but I'm still here to say great news for you. Stay healthy.
