So I was in my local coin store today and I found what looks like a 1869/69 snow 3. The coin was not marked as a variety, just labeled G or VG (I can't remember which) 1869 for $125. My 2008 red book says that the normal 1869 would be $90 in VG. So my question is $125 a good price for 1869/69 snow 3?
Is the 1869 snow 3 the same as the red book's listing of 1869/1869?
Yes that's the one in the RB.
If you look at the CPG listing FS-008.3 it crosses to Breen 1977 and Snow-3 and it has the little RB book loggo showing it's the RB listed variety. _________________ Ed
