If what seems to me, to be the case, there is bad news ahead for a lot of people!
The reason I say this is because so many home sites are on "man-made , flat-topped mountains", which are not actually "bedrock", and therefor vulnerable to moisture. The homes on these "hills, are at risk, because the lack of any anchor, (massive bedrock), that would hold everything in place, is not there. In the event of "normal" rain patterns, (not those of today, but the ones that were in place nearly a hundred years ago) are going to cause massive mud-slides. The resrt is obvious. A"home with a view", of the ocean is very nice, but if it is NOT a natural view, then it bodes ill for the ones who will live there.
This is not good news for the ones who live in these places, and I have to say that we wish we could control the weather, but it seems to be more like "the other way around".
