the find of the day, and perhaps the week, probably is mine.

I just got a 1942-S war nickel in change. Kind of worn, and the usual dark gray color. But it's definitely a war nickel.

I have some old Whitman albums for wheat cents and nickels from 1938-1964 or so. I only put coins in them that I find in change. So far my "best" find in change is a 38-D Jefferson. This war nickel is close though. It seems like the time between finds is very long (and getting longer) but there still are a few collectible coins out there. It's a good long-term challenge for a true collector.

Just my 2 cents. Or five, as the case may be.

I found a light doubled die 1976 Dollar. Looked interesting although most of the doubled dies on the Dollar are just ho hum.
