Hi all...sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I do come to the site often to see if others have posted and read them. I just have not found anything new myself...but busy looking! This site is a great help to variety hounds...I hope it is always here.

Pretty much the same for me, I haven't had time to look, and I do read the posts when I get a chance. I should be a little more proactive in starting threads...after all, I'm the guy who had the vision to start all of this, and the design and features on the site still haven't matured to the level I originally wanted them to go.

I read, or at least skim, almost all new posts at least every other day, but I do very little in the way of Lincoln cent varieties so I don't normally have a lot of input.

Yesterday I started going thru a bunch of stuff that's been tossed into boxes over the last few years and came across a 1952 proof cent. I'll have to check that to see if it's got any doubling. I did find one a number of years ago and Chuck used it for pictures of one of the DDOs.

1951 and 1953 both have nice doubled dies. but not 1952 that I am aware. I believe the coin you sent here years ago was a 1951. Slabbed that I remember.

Chuck: Why do the L's and I's in your post look green? Or is just my eyes doing something new?

I thought everyone looked that way! Or is MY eyes?
I check the suite several times a day, and some times post a comment, but lately, I just lurk. I spend a lot of time going thru boxes, and pulling stull I am interested it. BTW, of the four boxes I mentioned recently, having gone thru. I found 22 rolls of 70's, an6, or 78 60's. I don't usually find that ratio. I also found two rolls of the log cabin, and three rolls of the LP#, the one standing, looking at the white house. The one that is very short, is the LP@, the log. I have less that a dozen og them , since they came out. Even the LP$ is showing up good, now. The 2010's are coming in from the casino! About a dozen of them, too. There were about a dozen wheats, three Canafian, and one Bahamas.
