I only have one other '09 VDB to compare this to and it is different. Is there something going on here? Or is this part of the design? My other specimen may be just worn.

Scooby, If you refer to the lower eyelid, I would say it is a "hit".

No. The upper eyelid.
It looks like there may be two and if I turn it just right then three, but that's probably just lighting or refraction of some sort.

It looks to me like there is a whole other crease that runs from the back to the front.
