I found this one yesterday in change back from a store.
I guess it’s time to go to the bank and pick up a couple of boxes
And see what else is floating around here.
I had to stop searching for awhile because I was getting a case of
Copper-eye-diss --- I started seeing Lincolns face in my mashed potatoes
Also had the urge to paint the living room a copper color, but you know it’s bad
When you start calling your first born ( weather a boy or girl ) ABE.

Excellent find, I have a box nearby waiting for me to start on it.
The local coin shop I frequent usually gives out copper lincolns in change.

If the boxes you go thru are anything like four I went thru a few months ago, you may find several rolls of the 60's, and 70's. I fiound 23 rolls od 70's alons in the four boxes. I never find close to a roll of any date, normally.
That is a nice '83. I recognize the way the memorial building is 'firmly anchored to the rim".

That's a higher-end AU red/brown. Probably AU55. It's a very nice coin and a great find! 30 years of searching has only yielded one of those for me. Got about $10 from a bank in Charlotte, NC, while vacationing there in 2000. This die was one of the coins in that group.

There's also the one listed as Coneca die-3 that's similar but a little lesser than this one.

That is quite a find. It is hard to believe those are still loose out there.

Take a look at my early posts from when I joined
And you will see that I mistakenly dumped several rolls of 1983-P
It’s been about 2 ½ years ago. And I’m sure that this coin came from one of those rolls.
There are a lot of people that winter in this area, I see a lot of license plates from
Michigan, Ohio.the Carolinas and Canada. And then there are the bikers that pass through going from Daytona to the Keys and back during bike week..
I don’t know just what the odds are of me finding one of these but I sure wish I had a few bucks on it.
