What do you guys make of this? It doesn't look like PMD, I don't see any damage in there at all. I don't think it's a gas bubble, either. It almost looks like an extra arm.

under huge magnification, it looks like they "polished" a good part of the arms, head, and made him look fatter.

Just the fields. That is deep into the die (highest point on a coin) and would not be touched by a normal polishing.

I have to say that while I do not know exactly what did cause that mark, I do not believe it to be a doubled die. My reason is that it does not exactly match the shape or direction of the existing known arm. The bulge in the chest is there on all the others, so it's not a partial head.
