Im wondering if this could be a RPM or just MD?
In one of the photos you can see there is no doubling of the date.

Thanks, I was just coming back here to look at the lists of 95D DR's, I should do some extra checking on a south S/S. Hope you're right.

I would say no. If you note the die flow on the coin, it falls in the same direction as the loop on the first image and is not seen from a different angle. I've seen this before. There is nothing going on anywhere other than the area in question. Die wear and die scratches/lighting sometimes makes us think there is something when there really isn't.

I agree with Coop on this one. This does not appear to be an RPM.

I see what you are saying about the direction of metal flow, and it didn't match any of the pics here on coppercoins for RPMs.
Wish I had more time at home for searching. Now I have 2 bank boxes waiting for me.

Thanks MJ. I fixed that. I don't have a website right now. I has been a couple of years now since I've used that. So thanks for the heads up. I guess I should make up another one.... someday.

I see nothing on this coin other than a normal S punch with a hit in the middle of the mintmark.
