Per Oct 11 Coin World.
The buyer also bought an experimental 1942 trial strike in white metal and a 1944 zinc/steel cent. Those coins and the 43D will be at the FUN show in Tampa Jan 6-8.
"The new owner is proudly now the only collector to ever own the all-time finest and complete sets of Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco 1943 bronze cents and 1944 steel cents."
I'll have to settle for the plated steelie I found some years ago.

Who posted it, I don't remember now, but I got the image somewhere?

He probably bought this 1944 Steel Cent. It was on Heritage at one time or another?
Or another one like it. With those three coins, who needs anything else? LOL
